Public Contract opportunities for Highland businesses
The Highland Council is encouraging businesses to sign up to an upcoming free webinar event to find out more about public contract opportunities.
The Council, along with Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council, have teamed up with the Supplier Development Programme (SDP), a free business support service that offers tender training and advice to Scottish micro, small and medium sized businesses.
The webinar on January 27th at 2pm will focus on upcoming contracts and frameworks to be let by the Shared Procurement Service across all three councils in the coming year.

The Skye Flag continues its journey across the Atlantic
For those of you who have been following the progress of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2020, the first team to reach Antigua on Friday was the pair from Row4Cancer breaking the world record. Congratulations on an amazing achievement.
Force Genesis, the team flying the Skye Flag on their boat Jasmine Ann are making great progress with just about 720nm to the finish, a short distance behind the The Bristol Gulls who trained for this challenge on their row around Skye in August.
You can follow the remaining boats at the link below with HPF Atlantic already completing their journey after 38 days at sea and 3,000 miles.
