As many of us know Scotland's tourism industry and many other businesses rely on EU citizens for their year-round employment needs.

With the prospect of a no-deal brexit on the horizon there is growing concern for the position of EU workers and citizens here in Scotland. Meetings took place yesterday across Skye and Lochalsh with the Minister for Brexit, Migration and International Development, Ben Macpherson MSP to discuss and hear issues from employers and businesses in general. The minister met representatives from SkyeSkyns, Skeabost Hotel, Sligachan Hotel, Manuela's Bakery in Ardelve and in Portree with SkyeConnect and HIE. The Government have issued a number of publications to help employers and workers under the campaign #StayinScotland.
