In the year before the COVID-19 lockdown visitors to Skye brought £211m to the economy, according to the results of a year-long economic impact assessment and visitor survey.

The research was commission by destination management organisation, SkyeConnect and carried out by Glasgow Caledonian University’s Moffat Centre – the UK’s largest University-based consultancy and research centre for the tourism and travel industry.
