Working for the island we love

Let's pledge to make Skye, Raasay & Lochalsh Carbon Neutral

Skye Climate Action and SkyeConnect would like to invite businesses from across the Isle of Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh to join together, committing to take positive steps within our area toward combating climate change.

If you would like to join our 2022 Climate Pledge, please choose one (or more!) actions from the suggested list below and add it to your website along with the our Climate Pledge logo.

We would like to encourage as many businesses as possible to join the pledge and demonstrate their commitment to support incremental changes that will result in a net zero carbon future.

If you have already made changes in your business, please share your actions along with the logo.

If you are yet to make a pledge, here are some suggestions for little changes that will combine to make a big difference:

  • Switch of lights and equipment as much as possible.
  • Set up a Car Share scheme between colleagues.
  • Invest in Eco Office Equipment.
  • Print everything double sided.
  • Introduce reusable water bottles and hot drink cups.
  • Avoid single-use plastic.
  • Sign up for some training in sustainable business practices or climate literacy.

Please email us at info@skye-connect.com and we can send you across a copy of the Climate Pledge logo.

We look forward to seeing you share the Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh Climate Pledge logo and your pledges.

Thank You.
